The staff members, Founder, and the Board of Directors of Angels of Love have been working tirelessly for a very long time to obtain a building or house to be used as a shelter for abused women and children. We are now seeking to partner with the community to complete the second phase of our goal, which is to make this house into a safe haven shelter.
The Angel House Emergency Shelter will be open to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence and abuse. Our goal is to be the first source of prevention. We want to prevent children from being removed from their home by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. By having this shelter as a safe haven resource for those seeking refuge from violence and abuse, we can prevent children being ripped from their families and placed into foster homes or other group homes away from the valley. The shelter is the beginning of a fresh start for these child victims.
The Angels of Love Resource Center, will provide victims with information, training, and referrals to other social service agencies that can also help them heal, transform, seek justice, and become self-sufficient. The AOL Resource Center is a first resource location for those victims seeking help with a family crisis situation or domestic violence situation.
